urthman
Any idea what could be causing this? The door to the Office of Imperial Commerce is gone. The image of the door is there, but there's no icon to enter the building. If you walk into the door, you just pass right through as if you had a no-clipping cheat active. (Ack, I forgot to bring my latest mod-order list, which would probably help in diagnosing what might have caused this. I'll try to post it soon. I have a semi-recent list posted in this thread.) I think I have seen this before in this forum, try searching around a bit.....I'll look 2. Good luck. EDIT: Well it appears that this sort of problem is fairly recent, so it's probably from a relativly new mod out there, I found a few refrences to this problem but no solution. The only mod I could find associated with this sort of problem was "Verona House Blood Lines". I'd suggest deactivating mods that affect the IC one at a time to find the culprit. urthman
I'd suggest deactivating mods that affect the IC one at a time to find the culprit. There's a faster way. You can turn off half of the mods you suspect and if the problem goes away, you can narrow it down further, turning off half of the group that fixed it (or half of the group that didn't fix it). Keep narrowing it down by cutting the group of mods in half each time and you can pinpoint the culprit pretty quickly. Doing this, I narrowed the problem down to White Torches Great Oak Manor mod. Which is kind of bizarre, since that mod merely adds a Manor to the map way down south, half-way to Bravil, next to Hircine's Shrine. And it's also bizarre because I just fixed a problem with this mod conflicting with Unique Landscapes by moving it to the end of my mod list. Nevertheless, turning off this mod fixed the problem. Hmm. Now that I browse the Great Oak Manor thread, I see version 1 had wreaked havoc in the Imperial City in other ways. I'll make a note in that thread and hope the author fixes it, since the Great Oak Manor is a really nifty house mod. Great landscaping. Thanks for the advice and encouragement to track this down, thomasv! I feel so empowered
thomasv333
Good work tracking it down, sounds like a "dirty mod" I'll avoid that one for now.
ghastley
Mods that unintentionally change a base item instead of the individual reference can have this sort of effect. There's probably a door looking exactly like that one in another (broken) part of Tamriel.
