SSE Crossbows Instead of Bows for Imperials

Hey, so like my Bristleback Boars request, I'm trying to increase the lore in my game and it seems the Imperials had Crossbows. I'm requesting a mod that adds crossbows to only the Imperials, and hopefully uses these textures . Thank you to anyone who can help me with this

Looks like there would be a permissions issue, with this mod. Permission would need to be obtained from the author.

 

That being said, you can download and install this mod, then change it for your own personal use. Open it in creation kit and add the crossbows to the imperial equipment lists, save and close. The easiest way to do that is look at the imperial soldiers already in creation kit, hit the inventory tab, and see which equipment lists they are using. Find that list and add the crossbow to it, remove the regular bow. Or, you could create new lists, with a 50/50 chance each, one for bow and one for crossbow, then add those lists to the main equipment list.

 

If you have other mods which affect imperial inventory, though, you'll need to do a bashed patch.
