UnholyShadow Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 The Dark Brotherhood quest "Whodunit?" is obviously meant to be a very intricate quest, requiring you to gain people's trust, and influence them into thinking certain ways. Unfortunately, it is not like this at all, and you can take out your weapon and start slashing, without worrying about forfeiting your bonus. If someone could make a mod that changes this quest so that it behaves in its intended manner, it would be very cool. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Keshyngul Posted October 7, 2008 Share Posted October 7, 2008 Things I would suggest changing should anyone do this: Make the NPCs more rarely wander off on their own. Make some NPCs draw closer to you as the murders occur and have some become suspicious of you. Also... THEY ARE TOO WEAK! Even if you just add armor or something simple, they are too quick to kill. But case in point, in the vanilla quest here's a completely acceptable way to do the quest. Wait for enough of them to conk off and slash em in their sleep. Then turn the last two against each other and slaughter the victor where he stands. Pretty simple. Fewer of them should go to sleep and it shouldn't be one hit kill either.
