antstubell
Hi all wise people. So got my new world looking goooood. However, not really having problems but this world has a few mountains more or less creating perimeters and if you're a fair distance away they don't show/render, only when you get closer to them do you actually watch them being drawn in front of you - not realistic. Is this to do with LOD? What do I have to do to get the in-game Skyrim look where you can see distant mountains?

antstubell
Heres a very good video tutorial - Fascinating tutorial and something I will do but the final part seems laborious. He says effectively "when you've finished generating LODs along with your mod you need to send out file X, file X, file X and file X." Seems that the LODs will not be part of the mod but seperate files.
Tamb0
...Seems that the LODs will not be part of the mod but seperate files. Most mods have seperate files, but, depending on how they are packaged, you probably don't notice it.If you're putting you mod on Steam, then most of these loose files are packed in the .bsa archive. If you're putting the mod on the Nexus, then the .zip archive must contain the correct folder structure so that the files will get placed in the correct places, when unpacked.
