aralezkkk
Not sure if this is of help for anyone else, but I could cure the CTDs/reboots and freezing of my PC when using Oblivion completely! All I did was to install the DirectX version that was on the Oblivion CD/DVD instead of using the newst one available. During the install several Audio drivers were replaced and from then on: Not ONE crash so far an I played for several days now! I was using the Oblivon Crash preventing tools and OBSE plugins before (i still use them!), the script optimizer and god-knows-what before and it only helped a bit, but now Oblivion is almost completely stable. I have to admit I too was afraid to use the codec-remover tool, it felt a bit too overkill, a solution too big for a small problem... Anyway:I am happy
Rennn
I'm glad you got it working, it's not cool when a great game becomes really unstable.
