peterkeller
I've been playing Skyrim modded for over 200 hours now. and i'm using nearly 105 .esm or. esp mods, along with many texture packs, As well as a lighting ENB. Not surprisingly, i CTD slightly more than is tolerable. but it seems to be when i travel to certain thresholds, like crossing from Dawnstar into the wilderness. I run BOSS regularly, and there are no conflicts. But 100+ mods must be just a bit too many. Any comments on how many mods is just too many? McclaudEagle
255 mods is supposed to be the absolute limit because the game runs out of hex codes to allow anymore, however a lot of players report issues when they get more than 100 or so. SuperNussie
I Ran over 250 on oblivion, but that game definitely needed them. I only around 40 on skyrim, because i cant find many more i like.
BetterTejbz
I have 195 plugins and I've played for hours without CTD's or freezing. This is unprecedented for me. I hope there's a way to smash plugins together in case I hit the limit. Edited September 2, 2012 by BetterTejbz
thefudgestix
I currently have 185 plugins enabled, only CTD when using "showracemenu". Usually play on high or ultra settings, but to use showracemenu i have to use low or medium.
AnkhAscendant
Whew! I thought I was getting close to the limit with my 50ish... I'm glad I can keep downloading with impunity for a while ^^
