Autosleep
One of the things that I always miss in open sandbox games is the possibility to invest/create means to profit from the world's environment in a passive (without grinding or the usual buying/selling low/high form npc's). I would always wonder, why couldn't I hire a group/faction of npc's to salvage/mine the dungeons I had just cleared. Keeping it short, just a few ideas I brainstormed. The "Salvage Faction" (placeholder) would salvage/mine cleared dungeons, it would be unrelated to the dungeons contents, random results with some modifiers from npc's or speechcraft skill. Salvage would go from low tier (misc low value items, given directly to player as gold), to ores/gems or even rare enchanted items. The "Salvage Faction" would have wages, taxes from local jarls from salvage. New paid services to offer new gold sinks (As you progress, you could pay to have certain alchemy ingredients harvested, to cut grind from the game at late game progression). I myself, I'm thinking of trying something of sorts, but currently working/studying so I don't much time to spare, I will probably give it a try at it when I have more time available.
