Trinity: A Fictional Story

They finished their dance and walked arm in arm back to the table. As they sat, they made small talk and held hands.” Lao mentioned to me that your brother is to be released from prison soon?” Jack looked at her questioningly. Trinity hung her head, the thought of him giving up his freedom and losing some of the best years of his life weighed on her still.

Releasing her hand Jack lifted her chin, tears had pooled in her eyes. Smiling at her Jack said, “Trinity, your brother did what he did of his own free will and because he loves you, I can see in your eyes the sadness you feel and the guilt you carry...” Trinity removed her hand from his, opened her purse and removed a small handkerchief, dabbed her eyes, sniffled and then looked into Jacks eyes.

“Honey, I doubt he would be happy to know that you’re still carrying all that weight on your shoulders.” Trinity managed a small smile, but no more.

“I know that being an ex- con will make it slightly more difficult for him to obtain a job. That and no training or job skills will not help things either, and frankly I can’t see a man making that kind of a sacrifice for his sister stuck at flipping burgers for a living. When he gets out and gets situated, you have him come and see me. We can always use good security people, and I know he can handle himself.”

Trinity stared at Jack, blinked, and then she smiled. She smiled a smile that lit up her entire face, and Jack knew then and there he had made the right decision.

“Sam and I are having a few people over. The club will manage without us and I’d like you, Destiny and Lao to be our quests. Sam makes a hell of a spinach and Feta cheese omelet. Please say yes.” Trinity nodded her head and Jack smiled broadly. “Good, Sam was hoping you’d agree you’ve made quite the impression on her. She’s an excellent judge of character, and I think she’s correct in whatever it is she sees in you. I’ll have Thomas call for the car, and then come for you. One of the other security people will find Destiny and Lao.” Taking her hands in his, he kissed them gently.”You’ll have a good time, you’ll see,” he said as he slipped off the chair and walked into the crowd.

Trinity sat and listened to the music, tapping one foot to the beat. She thought about her brother, smiled and vowed to herself that never again would a family member suffer because of her, never!

She was interrupted by a young man as he walked up to her, she could tell by his walk that he’d had more than enough to drink. He stopped, smiled at her and then slightly slurred the words,”would you like to dance?”

Trinity politely told him that she appreciated the offer, but that she was getting ready to leave. “Oh, I see”, slurred the man,”I’m not older and rich.”

“That’s not it at all; I’m leaving in a few minutes.’ She reminded him. He reached out, grabbed her upper left arm just below her shoulder and squeezed hard.” Well a few minutes are all I’m asking for,’ he weaved, and smiled at her.

‘You’re hurting me,” Trinity winched at the pain and had an instant flashback of that day many years earlier. She tried pulling free and he tightened his grip, “Your hurting my arm.” Trinity’s voice had a pleading to it. The man laughed, stepped back and pulled her from the chair, and as he did Trinity lashed out with her right hand, connected with the man’s face, dug her nails in and pulled down. He howled in pain, turned slightly, pulled her and whipped her fiercely. Trinity was spun, lifted from her feet and went flying to land hard on the floor. Screams rang out and some patrons ran over to where Trinity lay. Helping her up they turned to see the man advancing on them

Like a mad bull a huge form charged thru the crowd and stopped in front of Trinity. It was Thomas, the doorman. He looked at Trinity and then at the bruise already forming on her brown skin. His head turned slowly and the man froze. The color drained from his face, he tried to step back and hit a wall, and their names were Nick and Tony. Each grabbed an arm and squeezed. The man flinched in pain. Thomas advanced on the man held in the vice like grip of the two security men. Thomas’s eyes were like crazed animals, the man began to cry, a huge wet spot appeared on the front of his pants and urine ran onto the floor. Nick and Tony laughed, and Thomas got closer. Suddenly two small hands grabbed Thomas by the arm; he stopped, turned his head and looked down at Trinity.

“No, Please don’t hurt him” Trinity pleaded!’ He hurt you Miss Trinity, I don’t like men that hurt women for any reason” he said quietly.”

Please Thomas, that’s your name right?” He nodded. “He’s drunk and not worth it, at least to me, please, for me, please don’t do it, please.”

Thomas looked at her for a second, nodded his head, “ok Miss Trinity, if you say so.” “Thomas’, she said quietly.” You don’t have to call me miss all the time.”

“Oh, I know that Miss Trinity, I do it out of respect for you.”

“Nick, Tony, take his pic, add it to the pc and then toss that piece of garbage out the back door like the rest of the trash.”

And no rough stuff, Miss Trinity said no.”

“Sure thing Tommy” said Nick and they dragged the man away. " And send someone to clean up this mess to" he yelled after them.

“The cars here Miss Trinity, that’s why I was coming to get you and a good thing, too, looks like”. Tommy smiled and offered Trinity his arm. Trinity wrapped her arm in his and they made their way through the crowd.

Thomas escorted Trinity thru the club, out the door and to the waiting limousine.

He opened the door for her and she entered the waiting car. Inside Destiny, Lao, Jack and Sam were waiting. There was also another couple too.

Trinity looked upon one of the most beautiful women she had ever seen. Red hair with what seemed like flecks of gold in it, and the greenest eyes she had ever seen. Next to her sat an older gentleman, who to Trinity’s estimation reeked of money!

The woman extender her hand, Trinity did the same.

“I’m Rebecca” she said. Her voice was like pure honey, smooth and sensual with a trance of an accent. This is Maxwell, she nodded in his direction, and he’s a publisher.

He leaned forward, extended his hand and as Trinity took it; he put it to his lips and kissed it. “The pleasure is all mine my dear. Samantha held back the truth from me; you are indeed a vision of loveliness.”

Trinity blushed. “Ah, a true beautiful spirit, untarnished and unblemished by life walked on the edge. Samantha you should have told me, she is unspoiled and new to the world of love as we know it. He kissed her hand again. It is rare that I run across someone like you, beauty, spirit, purity. I am honored rather than just pleased my child.”

“You’re making her uncomfortable Maxwell” Samantha said with a smile and a wink at Trinity.

They all laughed, even Trinity. The ride was short and the limo pulled into an underground garage. The glimpse of the building left Trinity slightly in awe. The car stopped, Thomas exited, looked around carefully and then opened the doors.

They entered an elevator; Jack produced a key and slid it into an opening labeled Penthouse. Rebecca was standing next to her and her perfume filled Trinity’s nose with a delightful aroma. As they exited the elevator Trinity couldn’t help but notice how round Rebecca’s butt was, and how her hips swayed as she walk. Trinity thought to herself that although she was pretty herself, Rebecca was in a league all her own.

Sam opened the door, and they followed her in. Trinity knew that there were people who lived lavishly, but she never dreamed she’d see something like this for real, not even in her wildest dreams.

“Make yourselves at home, and I’ll rustle us all up some drinks” Sam said. Trinity watched as Sam kicked off her shoes “God it’s great to be out of those heels”, and she laughed.

Jack walked over to a huge stereo system built into one wall, and suddenly soft music surrounded her. Destiny and Lao each grabbed an arm and walked her forward. “Girl, I swear, haven’t you ever been anywhere but the town you grew up in?”Destiny looked at her.”No, my parents sacrificed a lot to help me get this far, maybe too much” and her voice cracked.

“Way to go Destiny, we’re supposed to be showing her a good time, not making her regret being who she is” said Lao with a hint of anger.

Destiny stopped and looked at Trinity.” Baby I’m sorry, sometimes I open my big mouth without thinking of what I’m saying. Forgive me?”

Trinity smiled, threw her arms around Destiny and squeezed tight. “I love you for you and don’t ever change”, Trinity whispered in her ear.

“Come on”, let’s have some fun, that’s why we’re all here and to show Trinity what it’s all about. Not that you haven’t had some of that fun already said Loa seductively and winked. They laughed joined hands and ventured deeper into the condo.

Trinity was having a great time, she danced and talked and soon the alcohol that had been drunk earlier and dissipated was replaced.

Trinity had just finished dancing with Maxwell, he was a superb dancer, and he kissed her hand again and then released her. As she walked away she felt the urgent need to pee. She walked over to Sam and asked her where the bathroom was. Sam smiled. “I’ll show you honey, it’s so much easier than trying to give you directions.

Trinity followed Sam thru the huge condo, taking in the furniture, rugs, paintings and other objects on display. “You have a beautiful home”, she said to Sam.

“Why thank you, it’s nice to see that others appreciate the work I’ve put into it” Sam smiled at her.

“You have wonderful taste too” uttered Trinity.

“Now that's a true compliment. Jack’s not fond of some of my things, but he lets me have my way ,for a price”, and then she giggled like a small girl.

As they passed a coffee table Trinity came to a sudden stop. There on the table was a magazine, and on the cover was Rebecca, but what had caught her eye and made her stop so suddenly was the title. “Le Femme Mystique”* in bold print and under it in finer print “The world’s most beautiful Trans-sexual and Trans-gender women.

‘You didn’t know did you”, said Sam from beside her.

“No, I thought she was a real woman, I mean had been born a woman, I mean I had no idea”, sputtered Trinity. “She’s so beautiful and looks so good and walks like a dream, I……”

Sam slipped her arm into Trinity’s. “Honey, I could tell you were smitten with her as soon as you laid eyes on her. She’s a rarity like you, born a male but inside a woman. She too has had a long journey to achieve her goal and I want you to know that Jack and I will do everything we can to see you realize your dream too.”

Trinity looked into Sam’s eyes.” I don’t understand, you hardly know me, I’m a stranger.”

“You go pee, and then we’ll sit down and talk.” Sam caressed the side of Trinity’s face. “Go ahead, its right thru that door, I’ll wait for you.” And then she kissed Trinity ever so gently on the lips.

When Trinity came out of the bathroom, Sam was waiting for her. She took Trinity’s hand, led her down the hallway and thru a set of sliding doors into what looked to be a study. There were many pictures on the wall including one of a nice looking young man. Trinity wondered if this was Jack and Sam’s son.

Sam slid the sliders closed walked over to Trinity and led her to a plush sofa. They sat; Sam turned to face her and took both of Trinity’s hands in hers.

“What I’m going to tell you is strictly between you and me and is never to be spoken about to anyone without me saying that it’s ok to do so.

Trinity nodded.

“A number of years ago, there was a wonderful young man. He was kind, considerate, polite, intelligent and open about his being gay. His family loved him and they didn’t care about his sexual preferences or that he was different. All they cared about was that he was their son, and they wanted him to be happy in whatever he did and whomever he did it with. He was never harassed or picked on, maybe being from a wealthy family had something to do with it, but I’d like to think it was his personality that made people like and accept him for who and what he was.”

“One day when his parents came home, he wasn’t there. It was not an unusual occurrence in itself so they weren’t concerned. Time passed and it got later and later and still not even a phone call from him to them and that was unusual. His parents began calling his friends, they called the school, but no one had seen him since he’d left school with his friends and they had bid him farewell, as usual a few blocks from his home. His father called the police and as he was a prominent person in the community, a squad car and a car with two detectives were dispatched to their home.”

“The Detectives questioned his parents, asked about his friends, school all the normal questions. They took a picture of him and left. Later his parents found out they went to the homes of all his friends, questioned all of them and then put out an alert to be on the lookout for this missing person. Later that evening they were woken up by a pounding at the front door. They both went down, opened the door and there stood the Chief of Police”

“He told them that their son had been found, and that how deeply sorry he was, but their son was dead. Murdered he muttered to them. The woman collapsed, the man cried, and he and the Chief tended to his wife. After she had calmed down, the Chief said that he needed a positive ID of the body, and they needed to go to the Morgue. He said he would take them and then bring them home as he felt neither should be driving.”

“ When they got to the Morgue, the Chief suggested that the boy’s father ID the body alone Why asked the boy’s mother, what’s wrong with him that I can’t see my son? Ma’am, the Chief looked at her for a few seconds, he was very badly beaten, and I think you should save yourself the memory of seeing him as he now is. The father went into the viewing area alone and when he came out looked as if he had aged twenty years. He had a closed casket funeral and was buried in the family plot.”Sam’s voice cracked and Trinity tightened her grip on Sam’s hands.

“He had been so savagely beaten that his skull had been fractured, and had multiple broken bones and ruptured organs. The sad part was they never found out who had done it or why, but it was surmised that he was killed because he was gay. The man and women we’re my parents and the young man was my brother. I was away at school when it happened.”

Both the women had tears running down their cheeks to splash and be absorbed in their clothing.

“My mother passed away a few years later, she was never the same after her son’s death. My father passed a few years after her.”

“They’re the reason I do what I do and why I made that offer to you. My brother was never ashamed, he was full of life and soul and charisma, and you remind me so much of him. When Destiny and Lao told us about you, it seemed like a dream come true. Jack and I can’t have children; he’s sterile from a childhood accident. That and my brother and my parents and how your parents sacrificed for you, really gave Jack and I no other choice. We want you to be happy Trinity to be the real you. Max is the publisher of that magazine and some others and he’d like to do a photo shoot of you.” Sam looked into Trinity’s eyes.

“I don’t know what to say, I’m deeply honored by your offer Sam, but I don’t want to do porn, and I really don’t know if I could be nude in front of a bunch of strangers. I don’t even know what’s in those magazines,” Trinity said to her softly.

“Honey, I would never force you to do something against your wishes, and while there are some girls that do porn and Max does deal in that type of magazine and films, Jack and I don’t want to see you do that either, your too bright a star to be dimmed by the goings on in that walk of life”. Sam smiled at her and reached up and caressed Trinity’s face.

“You think about it”, Sam said, the offer will always be open”

They hugged, arose from the couch and rejoined the others.

As they entered the open living room they could tell that all were having a great time. “Well” Jack smiled at Trinity and Sam, “You been having a powwow together? Sam honey, you already experienced Trinity’s charms at the club.”

Sam looked at Jack, smiled and then gave him the finger and the room exploded into laughter.

“Honey, that hurt” laughed Jack.

Jack came out from behind the bar, took Trinity’s hand bowed, and said “may I have this dance?”

Trinity curtsied, smiled and said,”Yes you may”

Jack led her out to the small dance floor and Trinity immediately fell into rhythm with him, the music, the atmosphere, and the alcohol had left her feeling very good. She put her head on jack’s shoulder and was swept away to the stars.

As the dance ended jack looked at Trinity, her eyes were bright and deep. They kissed, and then Jack stepped back slightly, bent and scooped Trinity up into his arms. She stared into his eyes for a moment and then once again laid her head on his shoulder, and Jack carried her away, and Trinity could swear she heard applause!
