Pfuscher
That would be a super good function to add. Would save thousands of people a lot of work and help everybody out.Thank you.
Zeranthes
Are you assuming mods on SE will just automatically work on OldRim? If so that is a definite no due to the difference in code the versions of the game run on.
cdcooley
LE mods can be converted for use with SE but the reverse isn't true except in special cases. If you're planning to support both versions you need to develop for LE then convert to SE.
Pfuscher
@Zeranthes: I'm not assuming that :) I wrote "modpages", because people wouldn't have to rewrite the whole modpage. Of course the modding process is a different thing.
Pfuscher
C'mon please add this feature to nexus. It already exists the other way around.
Pfuscher
Hello? Please do this.
FrankFamily
I guess the reason is probably that the feature is meant to speed up porting of existing oldrim mods and most people supporting both are going to make LE first and then port it to SSE so the mod pages might as well follow that, there's less need of the inverse.Might have more luck posting on the nexus feedback subforum though: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/380-nexus-feedback-and-talk/
thumbincubation
I wondered, a while back, about a global permissions setting, so authors could establish their consistent framework, then change what they wish individually. This would tie in with that, giving authors the ability to have a standardized mod page and message, generic tips, warnings, credits, permissions, web links, etc., and then just change whatever is necessary to fit the mod being uploaded at the time.
