EwokJedi
Well, I'll be honest, what I am trying to do is make a minor weapon visual for the spells Magic Weapon and Greater Magic Weapon. As neither has a weapon visual attached to it, I cannot simply 'edit' something to my liking, it has to be added in, possibly at the script level. However, I have little to no knowledge of how to accomplish this. I have looked into the Blades of Fire spell and its scripts, and it seems to handle the visual through a separate script. It's a little too complex to simply slip it in, so I was wondering if anyone could help me, either by telling me how to do this, or perhaps setting it up for me, so that I can simply make a visual effect (which i know how to do), and it will work with it. For example, having the scripts written/altered for me so I can go in, type my VFX name where it needs to be, and that VFX will be displayed on the weapon while the weapon is under the effects of the spell. The reason behind this personal mod is two-fold. For one thing, I honestly just think it'd be nice for weapons effected by Magic Weapon and Greater Magic Weapon to have a visual to show that they are indeed 'magic'. Secondly, it's a nice indicator for when the effect is on or not. Edited September 2, 2012 by EwokJedi
Tchos
This sounds like something that would use a spell hook (I'd guess). I don't know how to do that yet, but I can direct you to where that sort of thing is currently being discussed. The user Pain of Dungeon Eternal gives a little tutorial about it here in the 11th post. It's a bit beyond me at my current level of understanding, though. Pain's collection of scripts that he refers to in that post is located here:http://neverwinter.nexusmods.com/mods/3 Edited September 3, 2012 by Tchos

Well originally I was looking into other spells that happen to add visual effects, but I think those are tied to the elemental damage they add, and I don't know how to do that either >_> otherwise I'd just find a way to make the +1 and higher bonuses add some degree of glow, and it would do it for any weapon with that on it :P
