Skyrim constant CTDs and can't start new game

My Skyrim is constantly crashing, seemingly at random points or events - sometimes when I try to loot a body, a fight or an event begins, sometimes in the middle of a fight, when I discover a new area etc. but these don't always happen. However, I noticed that all these crashes happen outside, and not in cities or buildings. I tried disabling mods like Climates of Tamriel and fixed all the errors and warnings in LOOT and cleaned everything with TESedit. Nothing helped. I have ENB installed but no presets.

Furthermore whenever I try to start a new game the area (starting cell of Alternate Start) doesn't load properly and neither does the character except for the eyes (see screenshot). I have FNIS installed and I think I have all the required patches but I'm not sure. I have no idea what's happening and how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you used LOOT to sort your load order? It looks all out of wack

Also, if that does't work, my money is on Lanterns of Skyrim. It gave me so many issues a while back that I uninstalled it all together and it's been better ever since.

And if not that, my next guess is Ordinator. There are so many patches for that mod. You may have to go back and check each one by one to make sure it does/doesn't have an Ordinator patch

 

Side note: When you have a long list like this or sharing your load order, you should put [ S p o i l e r ] (minus the spaces) before the list & then [ / s p o i l e r ] (again, minus the spaces) at the end of the list

Thanks for the tip and response! I've been modding for years buy its my first time posting here. This load order was actually generated by the newest version of LOOT so that's strange... furthermore it detects no errors whatsoever. I disabled both ordinator and latnerns of skyrim and still nothing... my only guess is now to go mod by mod to see what could be wrong now:((

I had to check first, but something is really off. Lanterns of skyrim.esp should never be sorted before USLEP and Falskaar. Be certain you're using LOOT version Version 0.14.4 (build ec99692e). That's the most current version from what I see. Also, under general information it should say:

Masterlist Revision 93ec591

Masterlist Date 2019-04-09

A couple of other things to try out:

1. Do you have Crash fixes installed?
2. If that's correct, make sure the modlist (left pane) is as close as possible to the plugins list (right pane)
3. Lanterns has a lot of patches. You may want to see if any of your other mods need a patch for it.
4. Oh! and have you re-downloaded and re-installed ASLAL and made sure you have the patches for other mods?

Anyhow, if that all fails and you have to do the one-by-one thing, at least you are only using 55 mods. I've had lists of 500+ mods merged and had to do the 1 by 1 thing. That was NOT fun.

Let us know either way... I'm curious as to what's causing your CTD

Some of the most amazing looking/stable games are made by following this guide. seriously, it's helped a lot of us out tremendously and makes Skyrim look INSANELY great!
