Project Nevada

Hi, I installed the Project Nevada mod and it seems like just some aspects of the mod is functioning, I can for example sprint, and the vision gets tanned when wearing sunglasses etc.

But however, some of the hot keys seems not functioning proper, like the P hot key, does not work. Only sprint and grenade throw hotkeyes.

 

Two other issues I have is that the cybernetic aspect of the mod is totally absent in-game, I find no cyber parts at all, not even in that first doctor's house. (I tried a new game to see if it spawned there then but no luck).

Also it would seem like the equipments are also absent in game. Like new weapons, I have managed to find one weapon, the crowbar in game ( I am not sure if this is part of the mod or not). I tried adding weapons, armor etc with consoles but with no results.

 

First time I manually installed the game (dropping it in the data folder and enablig it using FOMM). I then uninstalled it ( I went into FOMM and pushed the delete button there. I did not manually delete it in the data folder). I then tried to install it using FOMM but, sadly the same result.

PS. Yes, fallout script extender are installed and working properly.

Well, there is no P hotkey in Project Nevada, so maybe that's an issue? If you don't have the Cyberware stuff in game, then make sure the plugin is in your load order and active first. Also make sure that the HUD menu files are set up correctly. Easiest way to do that is to use the FOMM installer for PN to get things set up. If that doesn't work, go get and install (via FOMM) uHUD from Nexus, which will detect and automatically fix any HUD mods.

 

The equipment stuff will not show up in a new game until the game respawns things. Which won't happen if you keep playing around without giving it a chance to reset things. To reset things, go somewhere like a player house or another cell with no actors around, and wait around for about 4 in-game days. That will give the game time to reset everything, and then you should see new weapons.

I am having trouble with some of the power armor helmets. Night vision works fine but when I hit M on say the T-51 helmet the visor goes blue and keeps making the clicking noise plus I cant see anything due to static. Anyone have any Idea?

 

same here dude, i tried hitting the pipboy key and the view goes into what would be normal heat vision mode, tried loosing the charges required to have those kind of visions and still wen i hit tab it goes to heat mode and i can see put can t seem to be able to disengage the enhanced view mode, tried equipping / unequip armor (MARK II combat armor and helmet) but it still is frozen on that annoying vision mode ( which i m sure is really cool providing it goes away when needed, not my case...) :(! here s a screen shot of what the whole fuss is about for anyone trying to help us
