Will deleting Fallout 4 delete my mods?

To start, I want to get out of the way that I'm entirely new to PC Gaming, so I don't realy understand the inner workings of mods, or mod managers. Coming from console, my mod experience had been as easy as selecting, and installing mods here has been more or less the same but with extra steps.

The problem I'm having now though is with uninstalling mods. I uninstalled a batch of 25 or so mods, replacing them with a smaller number of mods that more or less did the same thing. I think, though, that I may have broken the game when uninstalling, because afterwards, I had problems initiating dialogue with NPCs. I haven't been able to find a fix for it, so my plan now is to uninstall and reinstall fallout 4.

I'd like to know if Vortex will keep my mods downloaded if I uninstall fallout 4, or if I will need to re-download them all again. I only have a couple of hours of play-time, so I'm not worried about the loosing any of my saves, but if I need to be ready to download all of my mods again, I'd like to know.

Also, if this isn't the right place to post this, I'm sorry, but none of the other forum spaces jumped out to me as better suited than this one.

You never need to reinstall your game.

Click Purge in Vortex - that removes all the mod hard links.

From what you have said - you borked your save (technical term)

Roll back to a save before you started installing mods - or start a new game.

When you click Deploy in Vortex, your currently enabled mods will be activated in game.

Will I need to re-install F4SE, or will Vortex to that for me as well?
