Mods will not finish downloading

Hello,

 

Some of the larger mods ( zeta crew, fook2 etc) will not finish downloading. nearly anything above 100mb will gracefully stop downloading at a random point. i get lucky every once in a while because they will finish,but i would like to finally fix the issue. thing is i dont know what the issue is. Anyone have a soloution to the problem?

 

 

 

P.S. i live in LA so im forced to use seatlle as my server, i tend to stay in the 90kb/s to 110kb/s range and i live in the ass-end of nowhere so i use wireless.

from your DL speeds i can tell you have bad internet.

 

and i have to ask are you using your internet browser to download? or are you using Nexus Mod Manager to download them?

 

if its your internet browser then i dont think you can do much except upgrade your internet(buy better internet) because if speed get to slow

your browser will think of it as dead/not able to download.

 

switching browsers "MAY" help the issue.

 

or if your using NMM it may help going to browser?(i personaly have not had problems like this unless i have to download like 10 300mb + files at once(which i only did once^^)

Well im using browser,and i was unaware i could switch browsers,but i may have discoverd the issue. I belive i may have been getting kicked off the server i just finished fook2 fwe (both parts) and mothership zeta crew and all it took was a dalass connection at 2am, but tell me sir/madam how can i switch browsers?

Firefox (I like it not bad very customized)

AOL

Dolphin?

Google chrome

 

Just download and your good to go

Another tip if you do decide to have a new browser be sure to set the default one thats the one you want to use, dont keep 'favorits' on two browser and try not to use a lot of browser plugins ie flashgot for fire fox
