StayFrosty05
I have been thinking I would like to RP a game in which my Dovahkin is already a Werewolf....from his near beheading at Helgen....So what I would like to do is console him to Werewolf status within moments of his bonds being cut....does anyone know if this may have adverse effects on the game?.....Aside from the most likely complications with the transform you to Werewolf in the Companions quest that is...but I won't be joining the companions on this run...he will be a very lone wolf in fact....will join the Dawnguard but no other factions/Guilds other than that. sinnerman69
there is a console command code to both add and remove the effects of Lycanthropy here's the code to be none beast player.removespell 00092c48 quoted from wiki http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim_talk:Werewolf Werewolf console cure? I do not want to be a werewolf anymore yet the cure quest is bugged is there some other way to cure it? Maybe with the console? — Unsigned comment by 70.119.230.173 (talk) at 19:27 on 5 August 2012 If you can't complete the cure using a Glenmoril witch head, you can become a Vampire Lord through Lord Harkon or Serana with Dawnguard installed (this cures your lycanthropy). I'm not sure if it technically means you are cured, or if it just removes the ability to turn into your Beast Form though, since I don't play on PC. StayFrosty05
Thank Sinnerman.... Finding the console command to become a Werewolf was hell on wheels....seems everyone wants to cure it instead or contract or cure Vampirism....Wasn't much on Werewolves, just curing it....but finally found the little gem to add it...just hoping it doesn't do nasty things to my game.... Edited September 3, 2012 by StayFrosty05
sinnerman69
just use player.addspell 00092c48 instead of the cure version I posted earlier on, can't see it being game breaking if the uespwiki had it Edited September 3, 2012 by sinnerman69
cyrkon
You can also use mod Tales of Lyncantrophy, it has adds configuration ring which can cure and infect you anytime you want. btw. it's a grat mod for werewolf, with it you MUST transform, like it was in morrowind. StayFrosty05
@ Cyrkon...Thank you for the alert to that mod.... ...appreciated....though I have had a look at it before and from what I can tell it would have some big conflict issues with the 'Werewolf' mod I already use...and I love the mod I use... ....Much appreciated though, thank you. StayFrosty05
Interesting to note....With a console commanded Werewolf....everything works perfectly except for two things: I am getting the 'Well rested' bonus every night when he sleeps and he can still catch diseases.
