robinsblade Posted September 3, 2012 Share Posted September 3, 2012 ok im working on a mod and i was lighting up the place to look more "real"(light sources,less light, just better looking)and once i got half way threw i thought "is this the best i can make it look?" so i started to experimentwith different lights and glows and still have not thought my lighting skeem looked good. can you tell me your thoughts on my lighting? http://s879.photobucket.com/albums/ab358/firetammer6/?action=view¤t=ScreenShot0.jpg IMO i think it looks unrealistic....but is this the best i can do with lighting? or is there someone that could give me tips in lighting places?/give me a mod that i canopen in the geck and see how they light up the place? Remember that lighting looks different in-game than in the GECK and don't place light sources too close to room surfaces like walls. Play around with different colours and other settings for the cell background lighting - even if you want to use 'real' lights, background lighting can stop nasty glare on surfaces, add to atmosphere, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
