i am able to import a model from fo3 to blender easy.

then i can export it and see it in nifskope easy also.

my problem is that when i try to open it in the geck i cant move it. when i hover mouse over it the cursor does not change to movement.

i know its something to do with nifskope but im new to model for fo3 so i dont know what.

ive been threw multiple tutorial on how to do modeling.

all im doing is taking a shack wall(inside of the shack) and removing the ceiling and floor of it.(im doing this because i get texture flickering on some home renovations i do if i dont set it up right.)

(and im doing this because if i make a floor , wall, ceiling. then i will be able to make a shack of any size with being limited to 2 floor shack(not just shacks i plan to do it to other interiors))

so can anyone help me/teach me how to import models into the geck?

I generally just find the right place in the GECK where the original meshes are listed then drag and drop from my file manager directly into the GECK. This is especially useful adding multiple meshes at the same time. The only drawback is you may want to go back and change the ID's as these are automatically selected by the GECK and may not suit your naming convention.

By the way, when doing the sort of editing you are doing make sure you edit the collision mesh as well (that's what those big dashed circles are in Blender). You probably are already aware of this but... :)
