atneosen91
Hey folks, So I was wondering, after playing around in nifskope and gimp, how do I make part of say an armor transparent. Completely transparent, as in, non-existing. You see, I'm working on an armor set, and I need to remove the pants, without having to go all crazy in blender or whatever. I know it is possible, as this one cape mod I use uses the whole nightingale armor mesh, but only the cape is textured and visible. I tried using the eraser, deleting layers (no I probably don't know what I'm doing) and such, but even after saving the new files and everything, the models show up fully textured in nifskope. Does anyone have a solution?
Joolander
you need to change the Alpha Channel on the Alpha Channel, white is completely visible and black is completely transparent
McMutton
Be sure to add the NiAlphaProperty block in the TriShape as well. It'd be easiest just to copy one from an existing NIF.
