Objects stopped moving in the preview window.
I've been working with the editor and at some point, the objects in the preview window just stopped moving. I can not rotate them using the mouse cursor or keyboard. I don't know what is the problem, but it already annoys me.

It sometimes happen to me because I set a very low value for movement speed to move the objects precisely, a value like 0.01. What happens is that after restarting the CK this values are set to 0, so you can't move them.

There could be another reason, that you have "snap to grid" and/or "snap to angle" enabled (in the tools bar), but your "snap to angle" value and/or your "snap to grid" value (in the Render Window Properties) is too high or 0.

I know this is an older post, but thank you SO much for this! Sheesh! How the heck were we supposed to know that???

You have tried the space bar to toggle between mouse and gamepad interaction with the preview window, right?

I fixed it ! :laugh: For everyone who might run into the same problem... I found a weird line in my CreationKitPrefs.ini:
[PreviewMovement]
bUseGamepad=1
No idea how it happened as I don`t own any gamepads and did not even open this ini. I set it to zero, restarted the Kit and it fixed the problem.
