HOwever, when I load it into CS, i cannot get the lights to light up the painting. What am I missing or forgetting? SquareHead Posted January 9, 2009 Share Posted January 9, 2009 I'm having the same issue. I'm using Photoshop cs2 with the NVidia dds and normal map plugins. I've saved out my textures as DXT-1 or DXT-3 and the normal maps as DXT-5. Both the textures and the normal map have an alpha channel as well.When I load the 'nif' file in the CS editor or in game, the textures are not lit by dynamic lights. They are lit by the sun only.I used a re-texturing tool instead of nifskope. I'm sure I've missed a simple step somewhere...Any suggestions would be great.
