Unique Companion Mod Idea need suggestions

I love the unique companion mods, there are at the moment only two really good ones I have seen in skyrim which is a little like o.o....mew sad.

I am wanting to finally get the lead out and start work on that determined mod I was gonna do for oblivion....but was like...agh but Skyrim comes out soon....>.<

Didn't want to have to redo, the entire idea, then I opened the ck and was like O.o they changed....to much lol So its re-learning to make the companion I wanted to make,

if the companion does well enough ill continue the rest of the idea, that leads to the quests to another world etc, **but that will need time and help lol **

 

I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of some good guides, and resources, *i have a few, and ive already hit a few issues with just simply getting the hair color changed lol >.<; *

I was like oh, reads, does, reads does, O.O;;;; erm, it doesn't move to there like it said it should......O.O (insert twitch here) lol

 

For those curious, i use to have a different name, but whatever it was from way back then, i don't remember, nor the account email that would send the password lol (yahoo...- 4 years cause of cute short person = no damn mind left to remember anything other then her needs during that time lol ) I was IvyisLost ***which suits me very well cause im always lost trying to figure stuff out...but determination, is strong lol so here we go again. ^ ^

 

but the original inspiration for the idea, was stoker, and Vilja and lilith, they were my favorite companions in oblivion, they all had a quest, and a past and talked to you and you would learn things about them new after a certain amount of time and friendship. I want to see that again, and I have seen it with another mod here on skyrim and i was uber happy ^ ^

Mostly I'd just suggest studying the more complex companions that are currently being worked on--my Aela, Atvir Dres, the followers that are part of Interesting NPCs, Fair Khajiit, the ones in Dovahkriid Grenzganger, etc.--and see how they've gone about it. There isn't a guide to complex companion creation because we're all still learning, we've all developed slightly different techniques, and it's still too early for a firm set of best practices to have emerged. Oh, thanks, I will look into Aela, I had seen atvir, and have been using him, he is one of my favorite atm I run around with him and the healer.

 

his comments crack me up all the time, and my daughter whom has heard the comments he has, she doesn't like for him to get hurt O.O

i get yelled at if he goes down to a knee, lol "SAVE HIM MOMMA" O.O < angry 4 yr old

O.o' "I am trying do you see there are like a billion dragons with this illusion dragon...." '

But that makes it rather awesome that she enjoys skyrim for the exploration she really doesn't care about the fighting, its easily handled with

"He's a bad guy and I am bopping him on the head, he went to sleep see...." (moves on)

the spinning dance amuses her, as they "fall down and sleep" (im not gonna tell her the truth lol)

 

Anyway, thank you for the help and I am reading at the moment before I answered, ^ ^

There is just (a lot) to read and learn ^ ^ and work around bugs etc,

 

O.O part of this is also cause my daughter requested a mini her to follow me around in game so she can feel like shes with me ^ ^ when I play and she watches lol

so thanks a bunch she will be glad to know im working on it more ^ ^ said i would do it so now im putting my mind to it. ^ ^
