ice 213
Hi everyone, I was just wondering if any of you clever people could help me here. I've recently installed the Apachii hair mod, and the Apachii NPC overhaul and was having a bunch of issues with mismatch colours (faces much darker than bodies and that sort of thing). I finally found a way to fix that (the fix files weren't working as they should have been :( ), and then I saw that some NPC's had a grey or a red forehead. Now then I searched and searched and found a nice workaround, however, I have to individually edit each NPC who has the problem, which could take forever. Now, it seems to only be one particular face texture that has the problem, and that is 'FemaleHeadNord' (well that I know of so far, I may find more as I progress through the game), and the fix seems to be to select 'FemaleUpperEyeSocket.dds and under where it has tinting set the interpolation to 0, and it matches the rest of the face (whether this is the correct way I don't know, it does however work). So, I was wondering if it was possible to mod that face texture as I have been doing individually for characters, but in a way so that it will effect every NPC who has that face set as their face. For example, Lydia uses this face, as does Aela, now instead of modding each individually, what I'm looking for is to go into Lydia's character, edit the face by changing the upper eye socket file, and then have it save to every other female nord using that particular face texture. Sorry for waffling on ;), and any methods to do this anyone could offer would be brilliant. Thanks everyone! EDIT: Just a little edit here, I've been trawling my way through the CK, and it seems that the characters who are ok and haven't got a crazy coloured forehead have their UpperEyeSocket already set to 0 interpolation, whereas the people who have the crazy colours have it set as default to a colour tint, and then the interpolation higher than 0. I don't know why it would do this to be honest :S. But anyone that could help me fix it quicker than me having to go through every NPC in the entire game would be a hero :D Edited September 4, 2012 by ice
