Distant Viewing

I'm thinking it would be nice, and do-able, to add a hand-held telescope. One could make it a unique item, or available in some stores. If it was designed as something roughly in the shape of the letter "Z" the animation for using it might be stolen from the animation for drinking or eating.

 

This would likely be a project for some of those who work on better landscapes or distant views already, as I have yet to even open the CS for Oblivion, and though I've made mods for my personal use and grtification in Morrowind's CS, I've never been any good with animations OR meshes.

 

Another idea for use with the eating animation is any number of horns. Yeah, the kind you blow.

 

This idea could be integrated into many existing mods, (like campanion mods for calling your campanions to you) or be added as an item (I'm thinking Nord) that causes damage, demoralizes, or a wide range of effects. Again this is is not something I'd want to tackle myself, but I have yet to see either in the few mods I've tried.

 

I hate that they lable me a "Newbie!" Kind of degrading don't you think? I guess all I can do about it is post more, so here ya go. If anyone decideds they like one or both of these ideas, I don't need any credit, but I would like to participate in developing them if I can help in any way. In any case, please PM me that you are working on it, what mod you will use it in, and where to get the mod.
