SurvivalNoob Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Hey,I'm really new to installing mods and I just got both new Vegas and Skyrim so I'm installing mods for those as best as I can! I hope I can make some friends here as well as ask some questions on here that hopefully I won't get yelled at for (I'm REALLY new to modding)! If you guys wanna call me anything, just call me Noob! And I also respond to "Hey you!" and "what's his face"

bben46 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-signs046.gif Unlike some others, This is a noob friendly site.We actually ban for flaming or trolling noobs (and anyone else)There is a lot of information available. (over 10 years worth) And it's all FREE. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-dance009.gif First look around a bit so you will be able to find the stuff you are looking for. Then, if you can't find it ask away - someone will be along with an answer. Just try to find the proper forum to ask in - no penalty if you get it wrong though. And please start your own topic to ask - that keeps the answers to your questions in your own topic to make it simpler. You may want to familiarize yourselves with our rules - Here http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?app=forums&module=extras§ion=boardrules And also some here http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/188-forum-rules-and-strikes/ But basically, if you can act in a reasonably civilized way you shouldn't have any trouble.

IronAlpha Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Welcome to Nexus!I'd be totally willing to suggest some New Vegas mods if you tell me what kind of experience you're looking for.
AgentGman Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 (edited) Enjoy your stay on the forums, if you are staying of course. I'm already liking this forum and its the first time I use it, I hope you like it too Edited September 19, 2012 by AgentGman
Ironman5000 Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 (edited) If you trying out mods for the first time then your best bet is to go the game related and go to the Files tab, select Top Files, then Most Endorsed Files of All Time for some really epic mods. You usually get clear instructions for usage but if you get stuck the forums are a great place for help and most the people here are very helpful  Edited September 30, 2012 by Ironman5000
