doctorhr2 Posted September 6, 2012 Share Posted September 6, 2012 Okay, so I have my custom house mesh with hole ready for the door (also custom), I have the door modeled seperately but when I try to pinch the info and animations from Farmhouseldoor01 in Nifskope... it didn't work (surprise surprise)! It MUST be possible to create a custom mesh than opens like the load doors as it is only logically a matter of replacing a mesh, but Nifskope doesn't seem to like you deleted the existing mesh and trying to drop a new one in. I'm guessing you have to start with the mesh and create the triggers from scratch? Has anyone sucessfully done this? I have searched the forums and Googled like a good 'un, but no joy. I did see a reference to possibly converting the animation and importing it into 3DS Max, but as this was for FNV, I wasn't sure if it would work with Skyrim. Any help or advice greatly appreciated. I have found a few leads regarding techniques used for modding doors in Oblivion, might be some parity between the two so I'll give that a go and post my results (if any!) should anyone find it useful.
