glowing ones wont die

i have a strange problem that is making it rely hard to play fo3. when ever i run in to a glowing one and shout them they don't seam to take any damage and i cant figure out why if any one has any suggestions on how to fix this problem your help will be greatly appreciated. its very strange that only glowing ones are having this problem
