MistahShowtime
I'm not sure if this has been requested or attempted before, but I would like to be able to control multiple people. For instance, instead of just having a few followers, I could control them as well. Perhaps an option where I can walk up to a follower, talk to them, and maybe something along the lines of "You take the lead." Then, you will begin controlling that character instead of the character you were previously controlling. Being able to level them up the same way as the player does in the game would be helpful as well. So, if I wanted a few different types of characters and to be able to play each one, I could do so without having to start a completely new character. For example, I could have a small party of 4 with one person wielding a sword and shield, a mage, a thief/rogue, and a 2-hand wielder and be able to freely switch between which one I control at any point. This would probably require some sort of alternate start to the game I assume. It would be even more amazing if I could create all 4 of them the same way you create a character when you first begin the game. That way, I could have different races/genders if I wanted to as well. Just to clarify, you would only be controlling ONE person at a time with the others acting as followers. However, you could talk to any of them and take control of that person, with the previous one you controlled becoming a follower. I'm not asking to be able to control multiple people all at the same time. I just want the option to control different people by switching between them. It would be somewhat like Dragon Age I guess if I had to give an example to relate it to. If you create each person, I'm not sure if you could dismiss them or not like you can a normal follower. Where would they go when you do? Would they just stay in place until you ask them to follow you again? Maybe an option to set where they return to when you create them would be possible? I think being able to control multiple people would also add a lot to playing the game since you could switch at any time. Another issue might be when you accept quests. You might have to make it so that when you accept a quest, all of your followers also accept the quest. To keep it lore friendly, would only one of them be able to be Dragonborn? I suppose if you create only one person, start the game out regularly, and then use some sort of NPC creator/editor you could make the followers you choose using that. Anyway, it's just a thought on something I've wanted since long ago in an Elder Scrolls game. To anyone who would take a shot at creating this mod, you have my greatest thanks! MistahShowtime
That is pretty much exactly what I'm talking about. I like the idea you have on how to switch between characters as well. It would be great if it's possible to implement this idea somehow. Does you know if it's already being worked on? I know a Dragon Age style party system where we can switch between members would certainly extend gameplay since we would be able to play multiple characters at a time. It does get a little boring after recreating several characters and doing a lot of the same quests over and over again, despite what other mods may be in effect. David Brasher
People request this over and over and over. There are dozens of requests for this. The long answer would be sort of like, "IF we could do this and IF we could do that and IF we could get this to work than MAYBE we could make Skyrim a little like Dragon Age." The short answer is, "No. Completely impossible. Play or build a different game if you want this feature."
