I am totally stuck at getting any mods to work...

Let me preface by saying im literally only trying to install the alternate lives mod and thats it. I have went through loads of videos in search of attempting to get this to work, and I obviously am missing something crucial. I am using Mod organizer 2 along with LOOT to make sure it puts everything in the correct order. The mod itself shows up in MO2 and thats all I can get it to do. When i run the game through MO2 it doesn't even launch. And when I open LOOT in MO2 it doesnt recognize the mod. I assume its something small I am just failing to understand and was hoping for some help.

For Skyrim LE is the old or last Updated Version of MO Better, MO 2 can caused issues.

 

I tried MO 2 too but mods i installed crashed Skyrim then i uses the last updated version of MO hand have no Problems anymore

download the latest version (if am not mistaken) of MO1 on https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194?tab=files Misc file section

Honestly make it easier for yourself and just install Vortex. It's a drag and drop or one click of a button and you're ready to go. If you're installing one mod you could even install it manually.
