Game wont launch with any mods installed through Vortex or manually

Having an issue no matter how I download the mod the game wont load with it. If I load through Vortex and click install on the mod it just says " NO COMPATIBLE GAME BEING MANAGED. The game(s) associated with this download are not managed, install for the currently managed game?" and click skyrim se button. the file will be put there but when i launch the game, nothing happens just a box that flashes black for .5 seconds. Same thing with manual downloading. Click the game, nothing happens. Side note SKSE is loaded and working so im lost.... HELP!! ;_;
