Green outfit (belethor, embry, etc.) metallicy shimmer

got quite a few mods installed, everything works together fine except the green outfit the embry and belethor wear have this broken texture or mesh that make it super metallicy looking, also the boots some women wear have the same problem. Not sure if anyone knows right away what it is? If not I can upload screenshots of my mod loadout.

If they're shimmery and purple, it sounds like the mesh isn't textured at all. A few possible reasons for that, missing files, mod with new meshes that don't have the same file path, etc.

If they're the proper green outfit, but very shiny, like they've been enameled, it sounds like a missing normal map. Possibly some mod replaced it, or replaced the mesh with only a diffuse map and no normal map. I can't recall, offhand, what they wear. Is it the green version of the merchant clothing, with the gilded trim and a couple of satchels? I think that's called tavern clothing in the game, if so. Look into your meshes folder and see if you have any under "clothing," that change tavern or merchant clothes. If so, look at textures and see if you have ones to match.

It's also possible, if it is a mod changing something, that it would be found within the mod's archive, .bsa, rather than loose files.

Can you post your load order (copy from LOOT, if you have it) with a spoiler tag, to avoid wall-0-text?

Use [ spoiler ] [ / spoiler ] but with no spaces in between, and paste your load order between the two.

okay last one lol. some are shorter than others cus I just cut out what isn't installed anymore. I've had basically all the ones that aren't installed, installed on the same installation instance of my game though, but I also have installed/uninstalled a few times. replaced ENB, ended up crashing because of Rudy ENB recommendation of ENB particle patch, not sure why, probably because of all my mesh and texture mods? Game runs smooth with no problems, I drop FPS pretty hard sometimes but it's not very noticeable. But I have Rudy ENB installed. This problem has been there since before Rudy though, i've done reinstallations of mods trying to get the files to overwrite again but something tells me its the order of load I have between RWT, SMIM, RLO and the other mesh/texture mods, probably loading the files in the wrong order and i'm not sure which ones to load since it's not as descriptive on the mod pages I guess? Since Vortex is pretty new. I'm not scared of hopping into my direct game files and muddling with them though.

come to think of it I had the TMB vanilla clothes and armor, maybe it erased that file and replaced it with just womens? but i've reinstalled Skyrim since then so I would have thought it would have replaced the missing ones at least since the files that were altered are managed by vortex. now that i'm looking through it, barkeeper only has shoe_0 and shoe_1.nif files and no torso but the female has both torso and shoe. there is also the shoes worn by sigrid on that out fit that do the same thing, im assuming that mod erased them entirely and vortex is just overriding the normal Skyrim files since its managed by vortex?

Edit: So I found another file in my steam apps common, which SHOULD be in E drive but is in my C drive, the meshes in that folder pertain to a different instance of mods before I had vortex, would deleting these stop the conflicts? because I start my SKSE64 out of my E drive SkyrimSE folder, i'm assuming it wouldn't harm anything?
