Papajack55 Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 I'm playing Skyrim SE, and when ever I try to start with SK64, it states that the TESV is not present. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance. P.S. I got this game when it first came out on steam as long as we had Skyrim Oldrim.
ButtonSmasher Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 This is not much info to go on.. Give us some more details: Like what did you do before this happend. Did the game start before you installed SKSE? etc..
wfandrews Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 You have your games confused somehow. skse64 will look for SkyrimSE.exe, while skse will look for TESV.exe. I would check your download and installation of SKSE64 to make sure you have done so correctly. Download SKSE64_2_00_16.7z from silverlock.org and install it in steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition.

wfandrews Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Do you have skse installed in the same folder as TESV.exe?
Papajack55 Posted July 13, 2019 Author Posted July 13, 2019 Hey all, thanks for your help. I resolved this whole thing by taking off and re-installing the game. Works perfectly now. Also, after re-installing, I had to reboot the comp also.
