Can anybody help?

It is technically impossible for you to be running 300 mods, if you are running between 245-253 that in itself could very well be one of your major game problems.

OMG , do you know nothng of modding???

Of course you can run more mods than the 253 limit, have you never heard of Wrye Bash (Bashed patch) and TES4Gecko (Merging mods)???

Right now I am running 308 esp files with 71 esps in my bashed patch leaving 237 active in my load order, (under the 253 esp limit). See attachment.

Sorry but I don't like it when people are misled by false information.

That says you have installed 308 mods, you are only running 237, well below the limit. Next time you feel the urge to fail at correcting someone, go stand in traffic instead.

ARGHHHHH, :wallbash: NEXT time you comment on something READ what you are replying too FIRST. I am running all 308 esps, 71 are mreged in the bashed patch and are (VIRTUALLY ACTIVE) as 1 esp file. YES the TOTAL # of ACTIVE esps is the below the 253 esp limit, but ALL 308 esp files are running BECAUSE THEY ARE VIRTUALY ACTIVE IN THE BASHED PATCH.

As this is OBVIOUSLY clear to ANYONE who is using Wrye Bash or TES4Gecko, I will no longer try to help you lean something since all you can do is resort to childish moronic insults.

Wrye Bash (Bashed patch) instead of Obmm?

NO, not one or the other, but they should be used in concert with each other.

OBMM is mostly used to add/remove/patch/edit/etc... mod files (in OMOD format), adjust your load order, and set your archive invalidation settings. (These are the most common uses.)

Wyre Bash is used mostly to create a Bashed Patch which will merge certain types of mods into one esp file, thus decreasing your ACTIVE esp list by allowing those mods to be Virtually Active in the bashed patch, this is very beneficial if you are getting close to the 253 esp limit. Also certain mods such as FCOM convergance REQUIRE that a bashed patch be used to work properly.

If you are new to modding your game I'd suggest looking at my "FCOM Install and Tweak Guide", even if you don't want to run an FCOM game it has a lot of useful information for beginners, new to adding mods to TES4.

Good Luck & Happy Modding.
