Launching Skyrim through Vortex Crashes at Bethesda Logo, Works on NMM

I only recently installed Vortex (version 0.18.11), and so far I've been having a consistent issue with it crashing at the initial Bethesda logo when I run Skyrim (2011 legendary edition). It doesn't do this every time, but 9/10 times. This issue seemingly doesn't happen when I use Nexus Mod Manager.

 

I've tried uninstalling mods to see if any of those are the issue, I've tried using LOOT to no avail, and TES5Edit comes back with no errors. Again, I don't have this issue with NMM, so I don't know what the problem is.

 

I currently have 39 mods installed, and I launch from SKSE. I have screenshots of my mods attached.

 

If it matters, I currently use Windows 8.1, have a 64 bit OS, and 8gb of ram.

You can't switch back and forth from Vortex to NMM. You will corrupt the Vortex version of your mods.

Any change in symptoms when you stop Vortex and launch Skyrim using skse_launcher.exe from game directory?

You never need to have Vortex running, and debugging game issues is easier if it is not in the picture.

I wasn't aware it would damage my mods.

 

Launching the SKSE launcher itself has the same issue.

Should I try just reinstalling the mods from scratch, now that I know I can't open NMM while using Vortex?

This is Oldrim we are talking about.

Since it launches successfully - sometimes - it is not obviously a bad or broken mod.
