sinnerman69
You stay in human form when given the gift from harkon there's a transform option or revert to human form from this site http://kotaku.com/5921294/playing-a-vampire-in-skyrim-dawnguardAs a vampire, you have a handful of special abilities. From the main menu you can use Vampire's Servant, which reanimates a corpse to fight by your side for 60 seconds, Vampire's Sight, which improves your night vision, and Vampire Lord, which zooms you out into third-person mode and morphs your character into a vicious beast. this thread might also have a solution in the first post http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/749673-solution-for-being-recognized-as-a-mortal-in-dawnguard-vampire-quests/page__p__6074618__hl__mortal__fromsearch__1#entry6074618
David Brasher
DAWNGUARD HUGE PROBLEM!!!! Yep. You said it. Dawnguard is a huge problem. It would have been better maybe if Bethesda had just sold us a DLC that added crossbows and nothing else and didn't introduce so many bugs and conflicts into the game for so many users. They maybe should have followed the business model they did for the two main Oblivion DLC. Shivering Isles was off in its own little world and conflicted with practically nothing. Knights of the Nine was a bit more conflict-prone, but it mostly just added a few new dungeons to the Tamriel map, and if people weren't editing those spots then there weren't problems. But Dawnguard is a prime example of how to NOT build a DLC or mod if you want to avoid mod conflicts and get along with the other modders and with the gamers. Your edits should be highly localized, not diffuse and all-invasive. You don't edit the vanilla Skyrim objects and systems unless you absolutely have to. You are supposed to copy them and create your own objects and systems that exist only in your mod and cannot be overwritten and cannot overwrite other mods.
