Unable to use specific powers

Hey,

 

So I've been trying to figure out why exactly this happens, no luck so far. To describe it shortly:

 

Whenever I use a power (from a mod) like Instincts (Campfire), Skyrim plays a sound and.. nothing. If I go to my spell list, the used power is at the bottom rendered as used until rest. Just like some of the vampire powers. I tested if the Vampire powers and Shouts would work as intended, and yes, they did. I then tried to load a previous save (can't find my manual saves anywhere, not sure if it's on my end or Skyrim's). Everything was back to normal, except I was days away from my current progress. So I suspect a corruption somewhere, but don't want to go back to lvl 6.

I did find some autosaves in the Skyrim save folder that weren't appearing in-game. I could possibly load that somehow?

 

Also, I'm apparently invincible and my stamina never depletes. I have absolutely no idea what's causing this.

 

Going to bed now, it's 6 in the morning. Hoping it will fix itself automatically (it won't). I'll be happy to give some more detail if needed :-)

I would use LOOT on that load order if I were you. It would have told you that you should not be using RDO-CRF+USEEP and RDO-USEEP; you should only use one or the other. As you do not have Cutting Room Floor delete RDO-CRF+USEEP. You are also using Obsidian Weathers with ELFX-Weathers these two conflict.

 

Download and install LOOT, SSEEdit, and Wrye Bash and gain a basic understanding of how to use these these mod tools, it is essential for a stable modded game. Before you download and install any mod read the mod authors description thoroughly, if you had done so you would have been aware of the two conflicts I mentioned.

I did process it through LOOT. Though I don't understand why the CRF patch is still in there since I manually disabled it. LOOT says ELFX contains dirty masters but I assume it's intentional by the mod author, otherwise its clean.

I'm quite sure Obsidian + ELFX works as long as you don't make ELFX change the weather (option when downloading.)

 

Something to note is that I've been playing for a good 10 - 20 hours with this exact load order (except some patches I discovered) on my laptop. Copied my saves onto my desktop where I'm currently playing. So I don't know what causes this, but I will give your advice a try.

 

edit:

Didn't fix it. Also, for the power to be rendered as used until rest, I have to double tab the power button (Z).

 

2nd edit:

I took my saves from my laptop which included all the autosaves that vanished. So everything should work now.
