"For the Love of Sithis!" (repost)

This is a "repost" of something I posted in the "skyrim mod troubleshooting" forum, but a poster, who was trying to help me, suggested I post here. So...the story thus far. This is what was on the other post.

(I find myself at a serious loss here people and was hoping for any assistance you all could provide. I am trying to get Serana into the original Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, but I can't seem to find the script that's keeping her out. I checked the exterior door in the editor and found the "default no follower door script" tied to the door. I removed the script, but Serana is still on the "do not enter" list. I attempted to dig out other scripts in the associated interior door ref and various triggers but found nothing. I even went as far as to add a entire new door to the Sanctuary, just to see if it worked, and still nothing.

I was hoping someone out there could point me in the right direction on this because it seems that the "Bethesda Gods" are determined to keep her out. Any help would be greatly appreciated and help make my game more immersive. I just find it difficult making Serana wait at the door in the rain after we went through all that trouble together to "drop kick" her father. I mean who better to serve the Dark Brotherhood than an ancient vampire princess who gets down and dirty with Daedric Princes and opens up a can of "patricide" in her spare time?)

With a few suggestions from "sinnerman 69" I attempted to...

(...modify Serana's "faction" and basically copied and pasted Babette's, but it was a no go. I even changed Serana's "relationships" to match Babette's and that did nothing as well. I know that there is something I'm missing, but I can't figure out what. Serana does wait patiently by the door though. Maybe there is a trigger with associated script by the exterior entrance that holds followers there? I just don't know.)

I realize that this is not likely a top priority for most modders, but from looking around the forum, I know I'm not the only one to have encountered this issue. I certainly wouldn't ask anyone to do the work for me, but if anyone could possibly put me onto the right path it would be much appreciated.
