sinnerman69
I seen that GTV V and Sim City 5 or to be released for the PC in December I'm thinking of getting one of them or even both you think they'll be overly priced? I've also wanted to get Deus Ex Human Revolution Augmented Edition for the PC but it was $79 dollars forever and that's to expensive for my tastes Edited September 9, 2012 by sinnerman69
Halororor
GTA V will definitely be at least $60, and Sim City 5 will be either $50 or $60. Human Revolution has been on sale at least 4 times on Steam in the last year, and from what I remember at least 3 times on Gamersgate. Vagrant0
Given EA's trends, I wouldn't bother with SimCity 5... It'll likely just be SimCity 4 with updated graphics but even worse gameplay mechanics (if that is even possible). That franchise has gone bad ever since SimCity Unlimited edition. Can't comment on GTA V, but I would probably suggest waiting until some gameplay footage and some non-industry reviews are out before buying. It's another franchise that has started to become more of the same just with different minigames.

It's still running around from one place to another meeting contacts, running errands, and still featured the same sort of gameplay where you start out being a taxi for everyone, get introduced to some minigame mechanics which are never used again after those missions, and then you can finally start shooting people. Arguably it had even less free-form content than SA... Unless you count being phoned all the time to go hang out with your useless cousin. All with the same sort of cynical style of comedy. hector530
the tone, the gameplay. gta4 was more grown up and realistic, gameplay was slower, more focused. by the sound of it you would also think red dead is a gta clone. sucks for you because you missed one of greatest games this generation and one of the most memorable video game characters ever. this coming from someone who thought gta4 was a 7-8 out of ten. dthumb
I was excited about the new Sim City, until they mentioned the always online gameplay... ugh. I'd rather have RDR on PC than a new GTA imho.
