Deleted19761User Posted September 9, 2012 Share Posted September 9, 2012 So i have been trying to get a custom model into the game. It is a old hammer weapon from Morrowind. I just exported it as a OBJ, and have been trying to port it into Skyrim. I have gotten it into nifskope by opening up the Daedric Mace, clearing the blood data, deleting the mace NiStrip, importing the model. I have set the NumUVMaps to 4097 and faced the normals and done the batch update. But as soon as I load up the CK with a custom weapon created and set the model, it doesn't find the 1stperson version in the drop downlist that I made. What am I missing? clintmich Posted September 10, 2012 Share Posted September 10, 2012 Create the 1stperson weapon as a static object in the CK. Then it will show in the dropdown. Just a reminder: if you do create this new weapon, uploading it to Nexus would be illegal, as you are porting a morrowind object to skyrim.
