Comit Posted September 9, 2012 Share Posted September 9, 2012 I've been trying to fix this problem for days now and I've ran out of solutions to try. The windows in dragonreach are always floating: http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/540686227941777775/7AA015670518E42F8975978741867B02438C52D8/ This is specific to my character, and there are no problems when I create a new character. I've turned off collision so I could fly, and the windows are seen from clear down along the cyrodil border (and during this test, I had my graphic settings to the lowest setting). I figured it probably had something to do with my uGridsToLoad being greater than the default (think it was at 9 at one point), but I have long since reverted back to 5, and both skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini have been nuked and rebuilt. I also nuked the .inis in the skyrim/data folder. This happens even in vanilla skyrim, without mods. It's like the .ini settings that are saved to my character are just f'd up :( While it's not that big of a problem, I suspect that whatever is doing this may have something to do with my game being unusually unstable outdoors.
