SSE default clothing fix

Well I've noticed when i switch a companions outfit, they change back to their default outfit, so i began using console commands to figure this out.

When I use the , inv , command i see that lets say, common tunic is listed as worn outfit, that is to say,

Common robes {prid} worn outfit Would show. Now when i switch the outfit to something like Blackrose body 1, which is a leather gothic type outfit. It reads...

Blackrose body 1 {prid} worn The word outfit isn't there. Common tunic is still listed in the inventory as ( outfit ) , and that's the snag It doesn't recognize the new clothing as an outfit.. I know I'm not the first to discover tthis, but is there a way to patch fix this?
