Bulldog241
Ok, so when I go to open the game out of steam, this is the error message I get: "Your game version is NOT supported, supported patches: 1.1.21.0(31oct11), 1.1.21.0ceg(18nov11), 1.1.21.0ru(10nov11), 1.2.12.0(20nov11), 1.3.7.0(06dec11), 1.3.10.0(18dec11), 1.4.15.0(23jan12), 1.4.21.0(01feb12), 1.5.24.0, 1.5.26.0" I'm running windows 7, and I last played Skyrim about 6 months ago and it worked just fine. Today I decided to get back into it, and now this is happening. I have no clue if I have the latest patch or not, as I can't for the life of me figure out how to check that through steam (seriously, who designed that? It's about as user-UNfriendly a program as I've seen). ANYWAY, rant over but does anyone have any ideas what I should do? Thanks!
stabbykitteh
First thing to try is right click on Skyrim - go to Properties - find the Local Files tab and click Verify Integrity of Game Cache. That should update you.
Bulldog241
I did that, and it didn't work. I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, and it didn't work either. :(
