Deleted269910User
Basically you move the extracted folders inside your data folder. It should look something like this inside it; xxx\Oblivion\Data\Textures--->all .dds and _n.dds files/folders containing these files go here.xxx\Oblivion\Data\Meshes--->all .nif and _gnd.nif files/folders containing these files go here.xxx\Oblivion\Data\Soundxxx\Oblivion\Data\Musicxxx\Oblivion\Data\DistantLODxxx\Oblivion\Data\Videoxxx\Oblivion\Data\Menus(UI mods use this.)xxx\Oblivion\Data\Shadersxxx\Oblivion\Data\obse(If you have it.) (Remember to make sure that there isn't a 'Textures' folder inside your 'Textures' folder, 'Meshes' folder inside your 'Meshes' folder or 'Data' folder inside your 'Data' folder. These are all indications of installing a mod wrong. If the folders don't exist there, and they most likely won't when you're installing your first mod(s) don't worry about it and just move the 'Textures' and 'Meshes' folders you extracted from the zip/rar/7-z to your xxx\Oblivion\Data\. Don't worry if you don't see the normal game textures or meshes in there. They're handled by separate BSA files and oblivion reads them from there when you're running the game. Yellow exclamation marks mean missing meshes, purple textures mean missing textures, so if you do see them, go and check the locations of the files from the mod that has these.) Also all your .esp files go to xxx\Oblivion\Data\. Once you're done installing the mod, check that the mod is active by either using the launcher and going to the 'Data Files' or by using OBMM. If you get OBMM, you can use the OMOD files for an easy installation/uninstallation option for the mod, if the option is given, however, most mods still aren't packed in an OMOD ready format. Getting OBMM is still worth it in my opinion, due to the other valuable things it provides, like the easy way of handling mod load orders.
