fore
What do you mean by "it for some reason generates a different link" and "will not detect any of the mods that requires FNIS"?And what by "When I use the file path C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\.."? How can you use another file path? And what mod manager do you use? And, and, and, ...?
Echigofighter
1. By different link I mean that it uses C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\(Steam) instead of C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users As for not detecting the mods it shows that I have â0 animations for 1 mod successfully includedâ when I know I have downloaded the mods that requires FNIS and says that they were not detected in the game nor while generating for Users. I mainly used Vortex but I tried manual and MO, yes I used the MO method making it an executable to generate. Sorry for the delayed response, I recently reset my PC and will be trying to install again, I will keep this updated. fore
PLEASE..... Don't make me pull worms. And don't post your interpretations of what you believe might happen. Facts..... Details.... That's what is needed. Tfose "different links", where do they come from? The first is an entry for the SSE registry and seems correct (unless you have Steam or Skyrim moved around incompletely. The second link is the location of the of the FNIS exe, and will ONLY be displayed if you have messed up something. But in the FNIS output above it is not shown. Simply because the output is correct. Simple but correct. Then what mods are you talking about??? IN DETAIL.Where is the exact text that "they" were not detected in game?Where is the FNIS output from those cases when you say "not detected .... while generating for Users". Remember: YOU messed things up, but it is impossible to tell if you hide information, and bring up fuzzy interpretations.
anjenthedog
IDK, puzzling issue... aside from running "FNIS for users" once after it's been updated, all my subsequent FNIS requests are handled automatically by Vortex flawlessly during mod installation and deployment. I believe FNIS for users is only required as an initializer. You may want to consider reinstalling FNIS.
Echigofighter
I am still not sure of the exact issue but as I said above I reset my PC and I have a fresh skyrim and redownloaded FNIS. After setting it up again I was able to to use it without issue. What happened before was puzzling but everything is good now. Thank you Fore and anjenthedog. Also keep up the amazing work guys!
