Tarm
Greetings. I've played with Girls of Skyrim for some time and it's great but now I want to create a companion of my own by modifying Misha. What I'd like to change is Hairstyle and Colour, Height, Weight, voice and body to UNP. I've tried changing height, voice and weight with skyrim NPC Editor but when I use that the tattoo disappears and her face turns grey. Haven't tried changing hair and colour yet because I couldn't get the mentioned changes right. Don't even know where to start to change body.Oh and I'd like to keep the original and duplicate her (Renaming of course.) with the changes. Tried the variety patch but I think the original looks better. Edit: Found a tutorial for changing everything but not UNP. Thought I had done a thorough search but apparently my search skills failed me. Edited September 11, 2012 by Tarm
natilde
Hey Tarm! Hope you're still watching this, because I had the exact same problem... and ended up just ripping apart SGFollowers, Girls of Skyrim and a few other mods to work out how to accomplish creating an NPC with custom body meshs and textures. If you've managed to change everything else, then you're really close. Your custom follower just needs the UNP body and compatible body/face textures. Download them manually from the UNP mod page and extract them somewhere convenient. Now, assuming you haven't changed any names or paths in the creation kit for it to reference, then you should find the files you need to replace under Data/meshs/actor/character/Mischabody just copy the nif files which should already be named correctly from the UNP meshes/actor/character/character assets/ The same goes for the textures, only this time they're located in Data/textures/actor/character/MishaBody The UNP mod should have 8 dds files to replace the hands and body, and I suggest using Coverwomen or another compatible face texture to replace the 4 that are there (I don't remember what Mischa's head texture was, if it was pretty face there might be a neck seam) That should change your new NPC to the UNP body :D it's 1am and I probably left something out, so let me know if that doesn't work for you!
