redpalladin
I've read about it while I was going through the mods, but having played this recently, and finished the game four times now and it didn't happen, I never bothered with it. I'm playing a new one enjoying some mods. Until recently when I was teaching new drugs to the Great Khans, few hours later in universe, suddenly head explodes. I suspect it was one of the mods that I added in, and I wish there was some warning about that (read it was the vanilla clothing merchant so I immediately deactivated and deleted it). Any other mods I should watch out from?

Any other mods I should watch out from? You don't need to deactivate it, try this mod to fix the "exploding head bug" http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/43813 I had the same problem a while back, I read it was something to do with nightvision goggles and the game thinking the player was wearing a slave collar... I never really figured out what was causing it, but it stopped being an issue when I installed the above mod :)
redpalladin
Oh, thank you. I don't have nightvision goggles (I relied on hiazmat mask from OWB so I never bothered getting a mod for that), so that's strange. I read the disclaimer I should turn it off on scripted head shot explosions (like Boone). Should my character not head shot enemies in combat? Does this mess up "bloody mess"? EDIT: OK, just got my laptop that has the game back. And it didn't seem to mess up my headshots in random battles. So thanks again.
