groupoffriends Posted September 11, 2012 Share Posted September 11, 2012 As you know, Bethesda releases games that are Beta version and unfinished, and we shell out good money, to unintentionally become their Beta-testers. They seem to have done it again with their Hearthfire add-on. It causes the "dirty disc" error, no matter how new and clean your disc is, and makes the game unplayable. I'd suggest *not* downloading the Hearthfire mod until this problem is fixed. Edit: In this case, Hearthfire, there is no error message until you try to "Load" a previous save, or "Continue" the most recent save, or until the game tries to create the first "auto-save" when starting a "New" game. :rolleyes: The Nexus is a PC only mod site. As Hearthfire has not yet been released for PC the ONLY way you could have this for PC is by piracy. We do not support pirated games or pirates here.
