n00bzZ
I've decided to start playing again, so I need some help finding mods. I'm looking for "low-end comp" mods. Anything that may improve the fps and reduce spikes (Comp specs: P4 2.0GHz, 1GB RAM, GeForce 7600GS 256MB AGP). I'll be installing Oblivion and SI, along with KOTN quest and probably that daedric dagger quest aswell (forgot the name). Also, if anyone could tell me which "must-have" mods should I get (mods like the unofficial Oblivion patch), and in which order should I install those along with the game itself and official patches to not mess up anything or at least as less as possible :) I guess that's all I need for now, unless I'm forgetting something. Thanks in advance to any helpers.

dezdimona
get MMM, Bartholm and The Lost spires. Those will add to your gaming experience.
ihateregisteringeverywhere
But won't reduce the lag. Use streamline. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10400 You will also need OBSE for it to run. http://obse.silverlock.org/
n00bzZ
Obviously OBSE and OBMM will both be installed as well. Regarding any other game experience mods, I'll probably try either OOO or FCOM and that's the reason I didn't ask for any right now. Although it's only partially mod-related, I'd like to know in which order should I install the games, official patches, unofficial patches and anything related. Last time I only had vanilla Oblivion+ KOTN so I just installed both and applied the official patch, without any unofficials. Now I got SI too and I have no idea which patches and in what order should I install the them. As far as I know it goes in this order: 1. Oblivion. 2. Oblivion official patch. 3. Unofficial patch. 4. Any KOTN mod. 5. SI. 6. SI official patch. 7. unofficial patch. I'm pretty sure either I'm missing something or one of those is actually unneeded, so I rather ask and be sure about it before I install anything. I will download Streamline as I already used it the last time I played and it did help quite a bit. Thanks for this one.

n00bzZ
Doesn't really help with what I need, but it does sound quite useful for future use. Thanks for that.
ihateregisteringeverywhere
Oh sorry, OB -> SI -> latest SI official patch -> unofficial patch/mods etc. The order in which you install mods is of no consequence, only their loading order is, therefore FCOM helper. Installing things in the order you specified shouldn't hurt, it will just take more time. (For example the latest OB patch is contained within the SI instalation). n00bzZ
So any official DLC's could be installed anytime without causing any problem? That's good I guess, in case I'd like to install them later. Thought that maybe either official patches fix DLC bugs as well, so I wasn't sure in which order should I install everything. Btw, as I remember there were 2 unofficial patches, 1 for Oblivion and 1 for SI. Does the SI one also contain the Oblivion unofficial, or should I install both? And last question, are there any unofficial patches for the DLC's? Or do the OB/SI unofficial patches fix those too? Appreciate your help so far.
