theabsolvedone
Right now, I'm making a mod that would...well, basically add more bound-able armor sets. When I actually started making the mod, I realized I only had 5 extra bound armor slots in the magical effects list, which just allows at most 2 new sets of armors. Now to be able to add more armor sets, my first idea was to set the assoc. item to leveled lists, but that doesn't work, so... ...yeah, the best I could come up with was to combine the boots, greaves, cuirass and gauntlets into one item. I'm not really sure how to do that, and I have no experience at all with meshes and 3d editing and stuff like that. So if anyone could lend a helping hand, I'd really appreciate it. :D Note: I don't want to simply resort to scripts to get the bound armor effect because 1) it doesn't feel very authentic; I can't add it to leveled spells for NPCs to use, and 2) using scripted spells does not allow for player customization i.e. the player cannot mix and match those spells with other spells in-game. dezdimona
you combine them in NifScope first, that way each item has a texture path in a single Nif. Then in the CS after creating a new ID, you then highlight the four parts of the body in that id.
theabsolvedone
Hmm, well I don't really have any experience with NifScope. How exactly do I combine the meshes?

theabsolvedone
Well, I tried combining them in Nifskope...it looks fine there, but when I actually put them into the game, it just shows the cuirass--the gauntlets, greaves and boots don't show.
