CTD help please

I cant figure out why i keep getting random CTD's. It seems to happen mostly after fast traveling ,but not always. It can happen after 10 minutes of playing or sometimes several hours.

If i run loot to sort then skyrim just sits at the skyrim dragon logo with a spinning circle at the bottom right of the screen. i got it to load correctly by placing ussep above rskyrimchildren and lanterns of skyrim where loot place it after these 2 and caused it to not go past the dragon logo. so basically the following load order is after loot sorting but with the ussep patch moved up 2 places so i can get past the first screen.

Please help me fix the crashes

I was playing under the same "onus" on my first character. I got into the habit of doing a new save every 5 minutes to ensure I didn't lose progress. Eventually, after the 1.5.80 update, she became unplayable and afaik, unrecoverable...

SO... I created a new character and started playing him, but I still liked my original fem character, so I spent the time to go back in the save list until I found one that was clean and didn't crash on save/load (like the original character had been doing after update). Had to go back to level 16, but she (now level 26) doesn't suffer from excessive CTDs I was experincing with the broken version, so something I did along the way beyond level 16 was (or were) the issue(s) that led to her downfall. Not sure what it/they was/were, and at this point I no longer care. Getting to level 52, I probably did the same amount of work of getting to level 100 or more had the CTDs not been happening, what with all the lost levels and lost time I spent with the L17-L52 version that finally became unplayable.

So... you may lose progress, but if the character is "critical" to your gameplay (for whatever reasons), I'd suggest digging back into the character saves to find one that no longer experiences constant CTDs.

So nothing obviously wrong with my load order ?

Another question why does loot place USSSEP after RSkyrimChildren and Lanterns of Skrim when it obviously wont load that way?

Even their own mod pages say that they shold be before USSEP Patch in the load order.

What issues could this cause if they are loaded after USSEP ?

I'm not sure. It's easy enough for a newb like me to understand how racemenu type ordering (ie, overlay tones, tattoos, makeup, hair, etc) works, but at least for me, being relatively new, it's way fuzzier when it comes to patch stuff. Although... in general, patches should be done last conceptually (In programming, a patch usually is apllied *over - ie, after - an existing piece of code that it is augmenting or repairing), unless when the patch is required to ensure some other "newer" mod works, since the newer mod was ostensibly coded with the presumption that the patch was already in place prior to encountering its code.

I'm not super savvy on skyrim configuration nuances yet, so I rely mainly on Vortex telling me there's a contention, and surprisingly, so far (current load order is 204 items long), and afaik, without exception, recommending the correct or A correct course of action (blah vs blech... load blah before blech? (recommended)" to properly stack all the modules, along with reading the descriptions and requirements sections of mod download pages to "guess" when it doesn't provide a recommended load order. In my limited experience, the only time when it's a "A correct" rather than "the correct" is regarding when/how to load a group of enb or racemenu overlays (subjective)

So, I have fiddled with a few race-menu enb load orders, but that's just asthetics, not code fixes.

If you find that there's some weird contention like this USSEP issue you're apparently encountering, maybe contact the mod author(s) of the involved mod(s) and ask if there's possibly an undocumented or otherwise apriori-presumed requirement? (ie well, I assumed that everyone knew they needed..."
