Asterra
I've made a habit of tackling small issues as I run into them. Fallout 3 had one bug that nobody, myself included, was ever able to sort out, and that's the stuttery Pip-Boy radio in anything newer than Windows XP (and converting the songs to mono definitely didn't count). New Vegas has a similar engine-level problem that I can't seem to sort out. That problem manifests whenever you turn in place while using a controller. When using a mouse, this action has an associated animation: The legs take pivoting steps, as you might expect. But when using a controller, the legs remain frozen. So you just rotate in place like you're a turret. And yes, it does look stupid. I've tried tackling this one a few different ways, but ultimately I think I'm just lacking some important missing information about how these animations interact with the game. Certainly there's a difference between repositioning the mouse and holding a stick when it comes to input. I feel like nothing less than some kind of significant engine-level override would enable this bug to be addressed.
